Editorial policy

Independence

Verdict Desk is editorially independent of the brands it covers. Advertising and affiliate relationships never determine what we publish, how we score a brand, or whether a fact is marked Verified. Our ratings follow a published methodology applied identically to every brand.

Sourcing and verification

Every significant fact carries a verification status, a source, a check date and a named checker. We mark only confirmed facts as Verified. Anything we cannot independently confirm is marked Needs verification or Unavailable; we do not present operator claims as our own findings.

Authors and accountability

Every review and guide names its reviewer and fact-checker, who are real people with published profiles and expertise. Reviews are fact-checked by a second person before publication and re-checked on a schedule when terms or licences change.

Responsible gambling

We present gambling as a paid form of entertainment and include 18+ and safer-gambling guidance on every page. We do not use language that implies guaranteed wins, risk-free play or easy money.

Corrections

When we learn of an error, we correct it promptly and record the change in a dated log. See our corrections policy for how to report an issue.
