Corrections policy

Accuracy is the point of Verdict Desk. When an error is identified, we correct it quickly and record the change in a dated, visible log, rather than silently editing.

How to report a correction

Email us at editorial@verdictdesk.co.uk with the page, the specific fact and, where possible, a source. We review reports in good faith as quickly as we can.

What we log

Every review and guide includes a “What changed” log. Each entry shows the date and the specific change, with the affected fact re-verified before a correction is published.

No silent edits

We keep the published date, the editorial-update date and the facts-checked date separate. A correction updates the facts-checked date and the change log, never the original published date.
